Minaxi May seeks and adds FUEL to Perth Festival 2022–23

Art Collective WA member, prolific artist and experienced arts project manager Minaxi May is one of a small group of mid-career and established artists and creatives - representing a diverse range of artforms – who have been selected to participate in Perth Festival's FUEL program.

The group spend time with key Perth Festival artists and staff and consider works of scale. This was a new initiative for Festival 2022 and is continuing in 2023 with the same cohort.

This is an exciting creative and professional development opportunity - and e can't wait to see what will come out of it for Minaxi.

Founded in 1953 from the University of Western Australia’s annual summer school entertainment nights as a ‘festival for the people’, the Festival has seeded and cultivated decades of cultural growth through commissioning major new works and engaging diverse audiences.
